Implementation

Your project is not funding our experience curve through trial and error; instead we bring to the table already proven standards and refined business processes that can literally save you thousands if not millions. Every project is different and we tailor our methodology to meet the objectives set by you. However, best practice dictates that a thorough methodology is employed to ensure quality outcomes are delivered.

Our Process

The following process broadly maps the methodology we use for asset management implementations.

  1. Planning
    Analysis of organisational and asset management objectives. Development of project management strategy and schedule. Resource planning and project team roles and responsibilities. Project governance and communication plan.
  2. Business Analysis
    Confirm business requirements, review of existing system and workflow mapping, codes, standards and user access.
  3. Design
    Assumptions, dependencies, constraints, architectural strategies, policies, engineering trade offs, risks and issues. Detailed design recommendations.
  4. Build
    System configuration, data migration, customisation, security administration, training plan and training materials. Development of system integration.
  5. Test
    User Acceptance Testing, business verification, load testing, integration  testing and data validation. Implement training plan.
  6. Deployment
    Cutover plan. Hand over final documentation system keys and codes. Resolve any issues. Provide onsite support.
  7. Support and Closure
    Provide general and post transitional support. Conduct internal and external post implementation review.

In addition to the major steps, the process includes ongoing communication and a change management plan, including reporting and feedback to the leadership team, project sponsor, project manager and project team. Review and approval is given in between each major stage.

Training

The right training is the key to getting the best return on investment from the systems you implement. Honing your user’s skills increases efficiency and productivity.

Tolerro is a full service consultancy, offering training as part of system implementation and can educate your workforce on how to best adapt to new systems and work processes. As asset management specialists we are up-to-date with all versions, features and functionality as part of our consulting and implementation services. It is therefore a natural extension to apply this know-how to deliver expert training as a stand-alone service.

We provide comprehensive training for existing users of IBM Maximo, SAP Syclo, Sharperlight and other systems we supply. We can deliver standard training using the official vendor training manuals or customise a training package with step by step documentation integrating your systems, incorporated customisations and configurations with your work flows and IT environment for seamless business process integration.

The delivery of training can be formal classroom, interactive workshops, webinars or one-on-one training. Our training meets the exacting standards required by both vendors and clients.

Support

Tolerro SOS Support

Our clients tell us that Tolerro’s SOS Support provides the best and fairest packages on the market. The difference – with SOS you get what you pay for, and you only pay for what you get!

Support agreements from other providers often force you to pay for a service you are not using, and then when you really need a concerted effort to get a problem solved they charge you for every extra hour used.  Often these support agreements also bundle in costly additional features that you simply don’t need.

By listening carefully to our customers, we have designed the SOS Service Level based Support Agreement.  It accommodates the ebbs and flows of your business cycle and support needs, can be tailored to your required support hour coverage and is scaled to meet your actual needs.

Typically we offer a package of support hours which are purchased on a regular monthly basis.  At the end of each month any unused support hours are rolled over to the following month.  If an emergency occurs requiring extensive support, you can use your accrued support hours, plus we allow you to “borrow” up to one month of support hours from the following month before we charge any extra support fees.  Our aim – to be the fairest, most responsive support provider that you have.

We offer a choice of standard hours and extended hours packages up to a 24 x 7 x 365 full cover support agreement.   For specialised support requirements we are also happy to develop specific service level agreements to cater for specific industry needs.

This is SOS’s online support portal which all customers are granted access to raise support tickets and track their progress through an intuitive, secure online browser based interface. Tolerro SOS provides 24 x 7 x 365 access to log support requests.
