Anomi Bruynius founded Tolerro in 2002. She has been at the forefront of asset management for 20 years, and has played a leading role in the development of the Enterprise Asset Management Industry in Australia. Under her leadership, Tolerro is the longest running IBM Maximo provider in Australia.
With a degree in Applied Science from Queensland University of Technology, Anomi’s background is in enterprise software development. Her first Maximo implementation was at Brisbane Water, at the time a part of Brisbane City Council, the largest municipality in the southern hemisphere.
As founder and manager of the Asset Management practice for engineering firm John Wilson & Partners, Anomi and her team implemented Maximo for a broad range of clients in local government and the oil and gas industries.
In 2002, Anomi’s entrepreneurial spirit drove her to establish Tolerro. Consistent growth and success under her leadership has enabled her to create a strong team of asset management specialists within the Company, and an expanding list of long standing, industry leading clients including Santos, TENIX, Sandvik and Origin Energy.
Anomi’s drive to create Tolerro was both professional and personal. From a professional perspective Anomi has always been absolutely uncompromising on quality, integrity and professionalism. Establishing her own business allowed her to drive those values home, creating a team of like-minded professionals with a prime focus on service excellence and client satisfaction.
From a personal perspective Anomi wanted to give something back to the industry through graduate training and professional development. She is proud to see that many of her present and past employees are now at the forefront in IBM Maximo consulting, delivering outstanding levels of service in organisations across the globe.
Beyond asset management, Anomi’s personal motivation has always been to use Tolerro as a vehicle to generate capital for important charitable work. Anomi is a Certified Professional and a Senior Member of the Australian Computer Society and a member of the Chartered Secretaries Australia. She has been twice nominated for the coveted Telstra Business Woman of the Year – Commonwealth Bank Small Business Award.
